Humanitarian Medical Mission to Vietnam 2026

Sakya Care Foundation is excited to announce our Eighth Parahita* International Humanitarian Project to Vietnam from June 26th to July 5th (12PM), 2026.

*Parahita is the Sanskrit term meaning ‘action for the benefit of others’.

Our First Parahita Mission Trip to Bodh Gaya, India was in 2015. Followed by our second mission to Binh Dinh, Ban Me Thuot and Daklak, Vietnam in 2016, the third mission to the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam, and our fifth mission to Bodh Gaya were of great success. We had to cancel our 4th mission due to widespread Covid-19 illness. After Covid, we returned to Đồng Nai – Xuân Lộc – Mũi Né for our sixth mission to  Vietnam with more than 90 professional and general volunteers. We are currently preparing for our seventh mission to India in November 2025.

For these missions, our participating volunteers/members – physicians, dentists, optometrists, pharmacists, nurses, etc – provided compassionate medical, dental and vision care to the Sanghas and thousands of impoverished people. Besides free medical care, each individual patient who came to the clinic – adults and children alike – also received a nominal gift of essential necessities like rice, oil, noodles, clothing, book pack, and money. (See pictures of our previous clinics below.)

We invite you to attend this upcoming Parahita Medical Mission in Central Vietnam.
