Lotus Community Health Expo is modeled after our Sakya mobile clinic but at a much larger scale. The population of the homeless and impoverished do not have medical insurance. Even the families that can afford standard medical insurance, dental and vision insurance is a luxury for many who is trying to make ends meet. Due to huge healthcare demands, Sakya normally partners with other larger nonprofit organizations like Remote Area Medical and local community groups. These partnerships ensure that we utilize all available resources in order for us to provide the best quality health care to those in need. We do not check patients’ ID’s, income, or insurance. We are happy to provide a helping hand to all in need!

Day #1 of Sakya Care-RAM clinic is now concluded! With your compassionate help we were able to register 452 patients and provide $172,040 in services so far at this clinic! Much appreciation to all of our wonderful volunteers to make this mission possible! One more day tomorrow from 6am-1pm but please don’t forget to stay back til 5pm to help breakdown and clean up!
